1. The bid in the ENVELOPE – 1 of all the bidders shall be opened by the Asset Sales Committee and placed before the parish Council with their recommen -dation.

2. The decision of the Assts Sales Committee in this matter shall be final.

3. The Asset Sales Committee reserves to reject any tender. The decision of the Asset Sales Committee in this respect is absolute. The Asset Sales Committee, may for the reasons to be recorded in writing, reject any tender including the highest tender. The Asset Sales Committee would not be obliged to give a copy of reasons for rejection of the bid to the unsuccessful tenderer.

4. After approval of the acceptance of Tender by the Asset Sales Committee, the Tenderer shall be informed of the same in writing.

5. Within 10days of the opening of the financial bid, the office of the St. George Forane Church Edapally, shall communicate to the tenderers, whose names have been short listed.

6  St. George Forane Church shall return the EMD received from the tenderers who do not qualify or failed to get short listed within 10 days of the opening of the tenders The EMD shall be returned without any interest on the same.

7. EMD received from all the short listed tendered shall be retained by St. George Forane Church, till the finalisation of the successful bidder by the Asset Sales Committee. St. George Forane Church shall not encash the EMD from any of the tenderers, excepting that of the successful bidder, in whose case, EMD without any interest payable on the same shall be adjusted against second instalment. In the case of other short listed bidders, the EMD will be returned within 10 days of the finalisation of bids by ASC.

With 10 days of the meeting of the ASC, a letter will be written by St. George Forane Church to the successful bidder to deposit the first instalment as per schedule.

            Guidelines have been framed to help the tenderness. These guidelines are given at the end of these tender documents. Intending bidders are advised to go through the guidelines carefully before making their bids.

AMENDMENT OF TENDER DOCUMENTS

A). any time prior to the last date of submission of the tender documents, St. George Forane Church, for any reason, whether or its own initiative or in response to a clarification requested by a prospective bidder, may modify the bid document by amendment.

1. all prospective bidders that have received bid documents will be notified of the amendment in writing by a cable at the address provided by them and the same will be binding on him.
